Range in open area
of strainer to cross selection area of pipe from 100% to 300%
Standard
gauge of strainer material ranges between 22 to 11 depending on
hole size. Special thicknesses available.
Normally
supplied with 1/8" diameter holes on 3/16" centers. Most
sizes of perforations available.
Note:
If mesh lined, specify flow direction.
Constructed
to accommodate raised face or ring joint. Designed to
provide inexpensive protection for costly valves, pumps, meters,
and other mechanical equipment. Typically used for
start-up of new or revamped piping systems.
